Customs Procedures and Documentation
This half-day course from Surrey Chambers of Commerce is designed to provide UK exporters and importers with a thorough understanding of customs procedures and the necessary documentation required for international trade. Participants will learn about the customs process, essential documentation and compliance requirements.

10:15 – 11:00 | Essential Documentation for Exporters and Importers
- Overview of key documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.
- Detailed walkthrough of each documentโs purpose and content.
- How to accurately complete and submit documentation.
- Electronic documentation and the role of the Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
