 e hold four dinner events a year\, designed by directors for directors\, a
 nd each one has a different business book author in attendance to help you
  get the most out of the event. Each event will provide an opportunity to 
 make new discoveries and gain new insights to support your director develo
 pment and your business growth from both the author and from the discussio
 n between peers over the course of the dinner.\n\nThe author will share wi
 th us their inspiration and motivation in putting pen to paper\, what comp
 elled them to undertake their book endeavour\, and share key highlights an
 d take-aways from their book(s). This will set the tone for the evening le
 ading us into a dinner discussion on the book’s topic. Whilst the author
  will generously share their insights\, there will be no formal presentati
 ons\, as the content and conversation come from the attendees. Whilst it
 ’s not every day you get to meet the author of a book you might have on 
 your bookshelf and wish you could ask them a question or two about it\, it
 ’s also a valuable opportunity for the author to hear first-hand from us
  (we are “the reader” they wrote the book for) for our thoughts and pe

 ness leader\, author\, and former military officer\, currently Chief Execu
 tive of Winmark\, the award-winning C-Suite network business. He leads 16 
 executive networks representing over 1\,000 multinational companies across
  18 countries.\n\nA former Captain in the Coldstream Guards\, John was dec
 orated for distinguished service during the First Gulf War and later comma
 nded the Northern Cordon around Sarajevo for the United Nations during the
  Bosnian conflict. In 2020\, he published The Suite Spot with Bloomsbury\,
  a widely acclaimed book on the C-Suite—described as “coolly analytica
 l” by the BBC and “indispensable” by the CIPD. He has also authored 
 and edited two volumes of war poetry\, with proceeds supporting injured so
 ldiers.\n\nA strong advocate for social mobility\, John is an Industrial F
 ellow and lectures on careers at Imperial College London\, the University

 ment\, and education. Increasingly\, we find ourselves using media for acc
 ess to critical services such as finance and healthcare\, yet a double-dig
 it percentage of the population struggles with the way that media is made 
 available. Our aim is to use AI to create adaptive media that adjusts to p
 eople’s needs and preferences\, whether meeting an accessibility need\, 
 or simply preferring to consume media in a certain way. This talk will exp
