AI Essentials for Directors

Artificial Intelligence is transforming business efficiency in multiple ways; automation of routine tasks, streamlining recruitment processes, analysing vast amounts of data and managing inventory to name a few. AI technology also has the potential to be game changer in enabling business and transforming organisations.

The Digital Skills Centre based at Guildford College has recently launched courses designed to demystify many IT technologies, to equip business with practical skills to save business time in getting value from their technology investments.

In response to questions our technology ambassadors in the Surrey branch have been increasingly receiving on new technology, and in particular on AI, we’ve selected to collaborate on a first session with Activate Learning on the topic of AI. This interactive session is designed to empower directors with the knowledge and tools to start to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) effectively in their organisations.

The event will demystify AI technologies, showcasing their potential to drive efficiency and innovation – enabling business and transforming organisations. For instance, attendees will gain practical insights into AI strategies for automating tasks, optimising recruitment, managing inventory, and analysing data.

Surrey Branch IoD Ambassadors representing the technology sector, will kick off the event by sharing their experiences and insights into integrating AI into business operations.

Following this, expert tutors from Activate Learning will lead an interactive session, demonstrating AI’s transformative impact and providing actionable strategies for directors.

Participants will engage in hands-on exercises, applying AI tools and techniques to real-world business scenarios. This workshop is designed to equip you with practical skills to help you start to implement AI successfully within your organisation.

You’ll also have the opportunity to network with fellow directors, deepening connections whilst discussing the growth opportunities AI could bring.
