How we work

Business Surrey is a Surrey County Council service guided by a strong, independent private sector voice, including the One Surrey Growth Board.

One Surrey Growth Board

The One Surrey Growth Board (established in 2020) works to lead, oversee, and coordinate the Surrey Economic Strategy and Delivery Plan.

It is the main strategic business advisory board that helps steer the county’s economic growth policy and programmes.

Membership includes representatives from both the public and private sector and comprises multinationals, business representative organisations, Further and Higher education and local government.

Its focus is understanding the current economic context, highlighting regional assets, advising on key strategies, providing feedback on the implementation of economic growth programmes and initiatives and working collaboratively to develop our economy.
