How to develop a skilled workforce in the construction workspace
How to develop a skilled workforce in the construction workspace
Purpose of discussion –
A labor skills shortage has been highlighted as the biggest challenge facing the construction industry. With an ageing workforce, an exodus of EU workers, and poor take-up or completion of apprenticeships, construction firms need to work harder and be more innovative when recruiting and retaining skilled staff.
This session will look at the challenges in recruiting, training and retaining staff and the initiatives available to help businesses address this problem.
