Artificial Intelligence is transforming business efficiency in multiple ways; automation of routine tasks, streamlining recruitment processes, analysing vast amounts of data and managing inventory to name a few. AI technology also has the potential to be game changer in enabling business and transforming organisations.

In response to questions our ambassadors in the Surrey and Berkshire branches have been increasingly receiving on new technology, and on technology enabling business, and in particular on AI, we’ve selected to collaborate with Royal Holloway and the Digital Organisation and Society Research Centre to bring a half day conference dedicated to the topic of AI and how we can best collaborate academia and business together to build better business in an AI enabled world.

This event is designed to empower directors with the knowledge they need to shape their thinking and their business operations to navigate these rapidly changing times, to better prepare for operating with AI.

The event will demystify AI technologies, showcasing their potential to drive efficiency and innovation – enabling business and transforming organisations.

We will explore a range of considerations including Policy and Practices, AI Upskilling, and the Benefits and Barriers of AI Adoption.

The session will be highly practical, addressing the questions directors are asking and sharing current day examples of tools and successful AI integration, that’s driving productivity and innovation in business.

We’re proud to be delivering this event with full support and direct hands-on involvement from the IoD Surrey & Berkshire Branches Ambassador team, the IoD South Region and from the IoD headquarters team.
