Surrey Chambers of Commerce – Surrey Young Professionals: Topgolf and Networking

Surrey Chambers of Commerce are proud to present our Surrey Young Professionals Networking Evening.

Whether you are new to the world of networking or simply wish to brush up on your networking skills, our Surrey Young Professionals Networking series is here to connect you with like-minded people.

Join us on 4th September for our next Surrey Young Professionals Event hosted at Top Golf in Addlestone! All abilities welcome – enjoy the chance to improve your golfing skills in a fun and supportive environment.

• 5pm – Arrival, Welcome Drink and Networking Intro in the Loft
• 5:30pm – 6:30pm – 1 Game of Topgolf (Teams of 6) (there will be a prize for the winning team)
• 5:45pm – 6pm – Platters served in the bays
• 6:30pm – 7:30pm – Networking in the Loft

We will mix the teams up beforehand so you have the opportunity to network with new people whilst playing but then also have the chance afterwards to connect with a diverse group of professionals from various industries, enhancing your network’s breadth and depth. It’s also a great opportunity for personal growth! You’ll be able to practice and refine your interpersonal and communication skills in a casual setting. Engaging with new people and presenting yourself can boost your confidence and public speaking abilities too.

We’ve all been new to an industry before; new to a company, new to a social scene, new to networking. But it’s not always easy and doesn’t come naturally for many. And yet it’s something we all do on a daily basis. So, we thought, why not change this as early on as possible?

Our SYP networking evenings are therefore a little more informal, in a laid-back, less corporate setting.

Unofficially for under 35’s but nowadays nobody cares what age you are, all that matters is that you’re looking for a great evening of networking, so all are welcome!
