Piers is a Chartered Surveyor and has over 24 years’ experience in the commercial property market. He has spent most of his career  working for International firms in London covering the South East Office Market as a Partner or Director at King Sturge, JLL, Capita and most recently as Principal and Head of Office Agency and Investment at Avison Young. Piers has lived in Surrey for over 15 years and joined Curchod & Co as Partner in July 2022 focusing on Investment and Agency across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and the South West M25 region.

Piers specialises in Investment, Development and occupational agency advising both landlords and tenants on commercial property, from an acquisition, letting, and sales perspective as well as advising developers on current trends and occupier requirements. His extensive knowledge of the regional office market has led him to appear as an Expert Witness at several high profile planning inquiries and was involved most recently on the proposed redevelopment of Tolworth Tower. 

Piers will provide an overview of the Office and Industrial markets in Surrey, in particular looking at the impact of rising build costs and higher interest rates on the development of new offices.
