The business decarbonisation loan is operated by Surrey County Council and available to small and medium enterprises (SME) and charities located in participating Boroughs of Woking, Guildford, Waverley, Reigate and Banstead, Spelthorne and Surrey Heath.
The first stage is for your business to have a business decarbonisation assessment.
The loan is part funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This programme follows the success of the recent Low Carbon Across The South & East (LoCASE) programme.

The Elmbridge start-up boost helps start-ups with one off costs such as one-off marketing, purchasing of equipment or anything that would help a business to start operating in Elmbridge. You can apply for a grant of up to 50% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of ยฃ1,000. Applicants are expected to fund at least 50% of each item as part of the project costs.
The business boost grants help Elmbridge businesses, the local high streets and supports the local economy. The grants can help businesses with ยฃ2,000 to improve shop fronts, bring back empty shops and upto ยฃ1,000 to help town or village wide projects
The Elmbridge digital high street boost offers grants to help independent high street retailers establish or upgrade e-commerce websites. Grants are available for up to 50% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of ยฃ1,500
Loans to help toolmakers and component manufacturers fund the design, development, and manufacture of tooling.ย Loans of ยฃ50,000 to ยฃ2,000,000 are available and businesses would need to show that they have had difficulities in secring funding for the manufacture of tooling.
Provides financial support through revenue share agreements, tailored mentorship, and board level guidance to social enterprises, charities and B-corporations, with a strong track record in supporting female entrepreneurs and a focus on organisations that are led by or support excluded groups. Applicants must have a fundamental vision for social or environmental causes and produce a scalable impact.ย ย
